A Summary of the Events of FFXIV 2.0

After the Battle of Cartenau Sol and what remained of his soldiers were taken to Ul'dah to see that there wounds would be taken care of. During these events however Sol would start to lose his memory, the effects of Hypertuning beginning to show signs of degradation of his mind. He would recover in time under the care of skilled healers of the Immortal Flames, visiting the Coliseum when he should be otherwise resting on many occassion.Once fully recovered he began his return back to Limsa Lominsa to return to active service, retaining his role as Storm Captain. With his return the 52nd resumed their patrols of the La Noscia area and on occasion venture into Ul'dah and Gridanian territories to lend aid against XIVth Legion Vanguards.When news came from Admiral Bloefhiswyn that the Scions were planning on taking the fight to the XIVth Legion they were given authority to assist whenever possible. Leading a raiding party into Castrum Meridianum, Sol and his troops were able to divert a large portion of the castrum's occupying forces, allowing the Scions and the Warrior of Light to bring down Livia sas Junius; The commander of Castrum Meridianum.With much of Castrum Meridianum's forces scattered or in retreat, the 52nd began a harassing action against Castrum Praetorium in an effort to allow the Scions and the Warrior of Light to infiltrate within and Destroy the Ultima Weapon. When Ultima was unleashed upon the Castrum itself many of the 52nd were caught in the devastating explosion, resulting in their retreat from the battle.Their efforts however were earned with success, as news of the Warrior of Light's victory over Gaius van Baelsar and the Ultima weapon reached Maelstrom Command. The 52nd Celebrated over this victory with many drinks and Song, the Drowning Wench had their hands full that day.

A Summary of the Events of FFXIV 3.0

With much of the XIVth Legion in disarray or in retreat, Sol and the 52nd were given stand down orders for their efforts. Many taking the opportunities to spend time with their loved ones and family. Sol on the other hand took it upon himself to assist in the efforts of the Scions, who had begun the assembly of their own Grand Company, known as the Crystal Braves.Reports of the Crystal Braves and their various success caught the attention of the other Grand Companies, prompting suspicion from many of it's officers and officials. These suspicions were met with Truth when the Sultana of Ul'dah was poisoned and General Rauhban placed under arrest by the Crystal Braves. This lead to Mutiny of the Crystal Braves as hey turned their blades on the very people who helped form their foundation; The Scions of the Seventh Dawn.The Scions were scattered during the Bloody Banquet as it was now being called. Sol however played a hand to the safety of escorting the Warrior of Light to Camp Dragonshead, allowing them seek asylum within Ishgard while Crystal Braves sullied their name. While this happened, the 52nd under orders from Sol was to capture any Crystal Braves that were apart of the mutiny and assassination attempt of the Scions.Many moons passed, but much of the Braves were captured and imprisoned, barring Captain Ilberd and his Seconds of Command. Sol received word of assistance in regards to Ishgard needing able bodies in the onsalught of the Dragon horde. Sol led a small group of Volunteers to assist with the defenses of Ishgard, making sure that their expertise was put to proper use.When the Horde came a final time, the 52nd was called to action; despite their orders from the Admiral to not interfere. Lending their aid to the battered defenders of Ishgard against a great many of Nidhogg's brood, all the while Sol assisted the Scions in bringing down Nidhogg himself, succeeding with the help of Great Wyrm Hraesvelgr.

A Summary of the Events of FFXIV 4.0

The Hordes of Nidhogg, the VIth Legion and the Primal known of Thordan defeated, the Scions were able to return back Eorzea having all been cleared of false charges set in place by the Crystal Braves. Allowing for more formulated plans and tasking to be conceived as the Grand Companies planned on storming Baelsar's Wall.Even with their disobeying of direct orders, Sol and his Company were given specialist actions on breaching Baelsar's Wall to allow the rest of the Grand Companies to follow suit. Their knowledge of Garlean Castrums and fortifications proving fruitful, yet not before elements of the companies began to go rogue and break off from their detachments, leading to chaos within the wall.The arrival of a Primal did not bode well the Scions and the Companies as further destruction was caused, yet with the Sacrifice of one of the Scions, The Primal Dragon known as Shinryu was placed in stasis until the Scions were able to use the Allag Weapon known as Omega to subdue the Primal. The resulting clash was a startling reminder of Cartenau to many of the 52nd, yet both Weapon and Primal had brought each other down, ending the conflict and the full capture of the Wall.With the capture of the Wall, the 52nd ran a Vanguard operation deeper within Ala mhigo, allowing with the capture of Castrum Oriens. Due to prolonged fighting and skirmishes within Ala Mhigo, the 52nd were given rearguard action tending to the many wounded. They were not able to take part in the Capture of Castellum Velodyna and Castrum Abania as result of this decision. However, many months later with the Warrior of Light's success in Doma's Liberation, the 52nd was called to Vanguard service once more as the Grand Companies pushed towards the Capital of Ala Mhigo.The Vanguard actions of the 52nd led to the creation of a strongpoint in the Lochs, which served as a forward base of operations when they stormed the Capital. The fighting was hard and brutal but with the Warrior of Light and the Scions leading the charge, the forces of the XIIth Legions were routed and Crown Prince Zenos yae Galvus was slain by the Warrior of Light.

A Summary of the Events of FFXIV 5.0

With the Liberation of Doma and Ala Mhigo, The Garlean Empire was steadily losing ground to the Eorzeans which led to a white peace summit near the battlefield of Ghimlyt Dark with Emperor Varis sos Galvus. Those peace talks would result in a battle that would shake the very foundations of the world. Many of the Scions had fallen into a deep slumber, including the warrior of light after the Garleans had withdrawn.As Sol and his men searched the Ghimlyt Dark for any survivors, he would also collapse in the field resulting in his retrieval and discovery of his near comatose state. Many unaware had had his spirit taken to another reflection of the source, with no sense of direction he wondered aimlessly through the lands known as Norvrandt. Surviving as best as he could until he came under attack from could only be described as "a reflection in a mirror".He had come under attack from a being that appeared to be his lookalike. The Clash lasted for hours, as this doppelganger possessed near limitless energy and stamina the battle would result in Sol quitting the field. Finding his way to the Crystarium and meeting the Scions in this strange land.He reported his encounter, discovering the lookalike was a Lightwarden that had taken the body of Sol's deceased counterpart, creating what they called a Cardinal Virtue. A Powerful Sineater, said to be stronger than most and capable of thinking for itself, This sineater being called Firmantis, The Cardinal Virtue of Tenacity.Fate was not without it's humor however as he would somehow encounter the Warrior of Light as well in this reflection of the source. With Her help, that of the Scions and the Virtue-Hunters; Firmantis was lured into a trap and it's aimless slaughter of innocents was brought to an end. Yet as Sol delivered the killing blow the Light Aspected aether of Firmantis flowed into his very form, yet he did not turn and was able to hold back the Light from taking over.While many moons would pass, Sol showed no signs of the Light taking over and was able to return back to Source, where he was greeted by Wife-Turned-Husband Lumix. He could feel what remained of Firmantis within his very mind however, as if it was bidding it's time to return and take over... Or to help.

Endwalker

A Summary of the Events of FFXIV 6.0

The months would come by, Eorzea was turned on it's head with the reveal of the Telophoroi terrorizing the many beat tribes that population Eorzea. At the behest of the Warrior of Light, Sol traveled by her side to Paglth'an in an attempt to prevent the Amalj'aa from being used a source for summonings. With the Admiral's permission and disapproval the 52nd was deployed help evacuate and safeguard any remaining Amalj'aa. Sol and the Warrior of Light were able to bring down the Primal known as Lunar Bahamut and defeat any remaining Telophoroi forces.Yet the peace of shortlived as multiple Lunar Primals were spotted at Cartenau Flats, prompting for the Grand Companies to mobilize their forces to face this grave threat. The fighting was long and hard, with a great many men, women and beastmen falling to each other in battle, The Scions handling the Lunar Primals in the process. Many injured being freed from the tempering influence of the Telophoroi, save for many Garleans who were to far gone, earning the Mercy they deserved.The Companies banded together in Ala Mhigo to make the announcement and formation of a Contingent to march on Garlemald to take the fight to the Telophoroi and Zenos himself. To Sol's surprise at this meeting he was greeted by many adventurers and mercenaries; all who gave him the Imperial Salute. Lieutenant Mouse informed him that the 52nd and those who served in the XVIth had heard of the Ilsabard contingent's formation and all willingly volunteered to join. Many among them being Pureblooded Garleans that were saved at Cartenau and free of their tempering. At this revelation he took back on his mantle of van and unofficially reformed the XVIth Expeditionary Legion, as an extension to the Contingent to not undermine authority.With this formation, They marched to Garlemald with the hopes of liberating what remained of the Capital. While the march was harsh and the blizzards unjust, they soon reached Ilsabard lands but were come under attack by Temepered elements of the Ist and IIIrd Legions, leading to one hard fought conflict. Leading to many of the tempered being captured and treated for their tempering.As the days and weeks came and gone, The Tower of Babil was held by the Contingent after the Warrior of Light led a team within to bring an end to the tempering of Garlemald. Yet the sky darkened and beasts of unnatural forms and shapes began to assault the allied forces, who were now in full evacuation procedures. Sol and his men held the line against the creatures who were now being referred to as "Blasphemies" by many in the contingent. Hardened as they were, they didn't even hesitate to cut down those who turned before their very eyes, knowing full well it would be a mercy to them.The Warrior of Light returned with the Scions and helped defeat what Blasphemies remained, even with the former Crown Prince lending his aid, claiming "He wanted to be the one fight the strongest" before shorting calling Sol himself a "Beast in the guise of men". The Survivors of the Ist, IIIrd, XVIth, The Contingent and the civilians were evacuated to Sharlyan, where the Forum announced the creation of the Ragnarok and the Warrior of Light's plan to journey to the Source of the Blasphemies.Despite the Protests of many, Sol journeyed at Her side to the edge of known reality and made sure to keep her safe at the cost of his own life. Even as things grew grim and allies gave their lives to make sure they could make it to end of the path, Sol too put himself on the line. Yet to his surprise he was greeted by 4 shades of his past that reminded him his time was not to come, it brought this old man to tears at this sight, for decades he had received what he thought was beyond his grasp; Forgivness.For the shades of his Mother, Father, Sister and Brother had forgiven him for everything he had done in his life. Pushing himself forward he would Help bring an Ultimate end to the Endsinger and it's Song of the Endtimes. However at his behest he made sure the Warrior of Light would be home and would fight Zenos to a bitter stalemate. Both succumbing to their wounds and both of their lives fading away...Sol would awake aboard the Ragnarok with his body screaming at the punishment he had endured, Lumix had managed his way to him, tears streaming from his eyes as he gave their husband a slap on the face."You Stupid... Dumb...Idiot..." Lumix said, tears still flowing, Sol could only smile "Love... you to.. Babe..."
